April Dojo

Southwest Coder Dojo

Southwest Coder Dojo is a member of Coder Dojo International, an organization of free, volunteer-led coding clubs. We were founded to provide introductory coding experiences for youth and teens (ages 11-18). Our volunteer mentors are software developers and software industry professionals from the Twin Cities.

Register with Hennepin County Library to attend our Dojo events. Tickets are free, but seats are limited. No experience in programming required. Remember to bring your laptop!

Join us at Walker Library for the next session of Coder Dojo.  Learn about code for websites, apps or general coding languages. If you're working on a project and need some help, please bring it along.

Not sure what you'd like to learn? No problem, we'll get you started on a self-pace online tutorial. Helpful mentors will answer your questions about coding, computer languages and opportunities for programmers.

Register through Hennepin County Library and remember to bring your laptop and charger. The library has a few laptops available for use during the session. Tickets are free for kids ages 11-18. Accompanying adults and siblings are welcome to hang out at the library.

Saturday, April 21 from 3 - 4:30 pm
Calhoun Meeting Room at Walker Library
2880 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55408

Save the date: Our next Dojo will be on Saturday, May 19th.
